I already got usb to ttl. how can I backup the alfa firmware ? there is a way to connect throught ftp and copy the files? Thanks. You could back up the individual mtd partitions but lots has gone wrong with that in the past - I wouldn't trust it.If you already have a serial device, flashing openWRT is a trivial process. You will probably able to contact Alfa and get some kernel and rootfs files to flash back.. but I cannot guarantee that. That's their thing. I guess the only reason to backup would be to revert back to a normal router, and I have come across this custom firmware, its not brilliant, your better off using OpenWRT, even it you aren't using it as a pineapple!
