MKIV & OS X Mountain Lion issues

So we've recently acquired a handful of the MKIV's for work and I'm trying to get it to work on my Air.

Trying to set it up to my Air, I've set the following:

In Service Order:

Wi-Fi:

Configure IPv4: Using DHCP

IPv4 Address: 192.168.1.10

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Router: 192.168.1.1

DNS: 8.8.8.8

Thunderbolt Ethernet

Configure IPv4: Manually

IP Address: 172.16.42.42

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

DNS: 8.8.8.8

Internet Sharing: On (Thunderbolt Ethernet)

I tried running the wp4.sh through terminal and it hangs after entering the last prompt, I have to CTRL+C to get out of it.

I've also tried setting it up within Ubuntu 12.04 using the wp4.sh script within a VM with 2 bridged adapters setup for wireless and ethernet, however, only one will connect and the other constantly flashes in the status bar saying not connect (ethernet).

Pinging 172.16.42.1 does not work.

I can use my wireless no problem, however, for some reason ethernet is not working - even with wireless off just to see if that matters. I've attached my network settings for my Air below. I've tried both in the WAN and PoE/LAN ports.

Thanks barry - I will try to figure out why its not setting properly, even when I go into my Network settings and set it the right way. For some reason it's not changing the config.
