PineDominator Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Big kudos to farfel:-D If you check this post http://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/27470-iphone-open-wifi-help/#entry209593 you will find a soulution to the apple issue of connecting to the pineapple then disconnecting because It can't get internet when we are redirecting traffic on the pineapple I have confirmed this on an ipod touch 2nd gen version firmware version 4.2.1.
NullNull Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 (edited) Very nice work from farfel but I am using this apples "issue" when redirecting all trafic to pineapple with out supplying Internet to it so the user won't be able to use e.g. Facebook app or any ather application. If the user could use Applications password sniffing will be impossible. And I think it is better if you are using redirectAll with out supplying internet safari just to pop up so the user won't understand that he isnot actually connected to the internet. Mr-Protocol Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 My iPod touch would connect to my pineapple just fine and would work. Is this an issue with connecting the pineapple to places that have a portal page at first?

Sebkinne Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 Actually, this is not a bug, rather a feature. Now that we are separating the UI from the rest, this will not even bother the pineapple UI and future features. Best Regards, Sebkinne
Sebkinne Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Just to confirm, this will be added to the next feature release firmware. This does not mean that it will be in the next release as we are stabilizing our firmware right now. Best Regards, Sebkinne
