Atari6502 Posted August 27, 2006 Share Posted August 27, 2006 yes i know bu twhat im saying is that i have a 4.4ghz machine cause i have two 2.2ghz cores Multicore and multi cpu systems dont do twice the amount of work than a identicle speed single core/cpu system. They are able to run many apps, simultaniously without bogging down. Few programs ,right now, take advantage of the multicore/cpu Does anyone know offhand if XP home can utilize both cores in a dual core, or do you need XP pro or 2000?
