digip Posted April 27, 2011 Share Posted April 27, 2011 Cain will only scan the subnet you are part of. I see no reason Cain can't scan that address if the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 since 192.168.1.255 would be the broadcast address. Are you sure you have everything set up on Cain properly? do you get any kinds of errors or just nothing found when you start sniffing and scanning?
