Conrthomas Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Just wondering, has anybody been able to get the SET (Social Engineering Toolkit) to work on the Samurai WTF distro? I have tried installing it to many places in the root, and when I try to run it, it says "Not running in root, SET is exiting" or something to that effect. I have Googled to no avail. Any suggestions? Quote

H@L0_F00 Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 He seriously doubts my abilities... Sounds about correct if you don't even know how to run something as root. Kthxbai. Quote
El_Mariachi Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 I haven't played with it yet on the Samurai distro. The new BT4 from BlackHat has the SET as well (at least, a version of it). Worked just fine there. Quote
psydT0ne Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Well from what im reading...you need to run SET as root. You're getting that,... right? Quote
