Romulus
I have been researching this for a while and have not found anyway of doing it....so i came to ask you IT Ninjas. Is there any way of stopping an exe from calling or running a DLL? for example PERSON A copies a program from his flash drive to PERSON B's PC and runs it, however PERSON B doesn't like that gesture, so he wants to block the main DLL from being used so that the program crashes. Any ideas?
moonlit
Dummy DLL (text file with the same name as the DLL)... ...but why not just remove the entire program?
operat0r_001
in company I worked for had monitoring ... with some scripting you can put EXEs and really anything running in a sort of suspend or paused state ... in that the app is RUNNING but not doing anything ... procexp.exe's suspend is a good example.. sure you can do DLL's with some kind of lang/code

If it's actively been used you'll get caught either way.

Swathe
So some guy copied an application to your computer, or the other way around? Use a portable version off of a usb drive (Best use for an iPod ever!!!)
