FireTime
I guess Murphy is spending the week at my house. You will never need a floppy again until you throw out every last floppy in your house. So much for installing DSL on my laptop. The laptop has a cd rom drive but it's so old and crappy after reading a few bytes off of the boot sector, it decides to spin down, and spin up, and spin down, and spin up........ Also Booting to usb has been a treat. After installing the USB iso for the 12th time and every time the install finds a different spot to stop and say that the kernel is corrupted i gave up on that dream. Now I'm where this post started, trying to use a floppy, only to find that i threw out every floppy in my house not more that a few weeks ago. VaKo
Been there, the only way to run the critical business app on a new machine is to use a floppy, so after a 3 hour hunt around the entire office we find one wedged down the back of an old filling cabinet.
