MRGRIM Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 I have a remote user and I need to move them onto Exchange, I need to get their 1GB .pst back to our local network. The problem is they have mobile broadband that often drops the connection and kills the VPN. Does anyone know of any programs that would allow me to "resume" a file transfer (Much like a download manager would do) Thanks Quote
Swathe Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 They have a similar issue where I work. They now are resorting to the user mails a burnt dvd with the files and it's manually added. We have no end of trouble with our VPN connections using 3g and NextG data cards for their tuffbooks. Sorry i can't give you any more a useful idea. Quote
VaKo Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 http://www.ranvik.net/totalcopy/ You also have the option of breaking the file up into smaller RAR chunks and transfering those. Quote
Swathe Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Awesome Vako I will be looking into this also Quote
MRGRIM Posted February 11, 2009 Author Posted February 11, 2009 Total Copy won't work on Vista - but after googling the problem I found Roadkil.net and http://roadkil.net/program.php?ProgramID=29 ("Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier") The other application I've found but not tried is http://www.codesector.com/teracopy.php Quote
VaKo Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 They look cool, thanks. Plus, you answered a question someone else asked. Quote
