  1. Maybe I'm new to the scene and unfamiliar with other modules already done. Maybe I'm in the wrong section. But I have an interest in being able to GPS locate wireless signals. Both routers and devices. In my mind this is an essential wardriving function for anyone who owns a pineapple. So I'd like the module to draw lightweight, simple maps with tool tips that expand to provide info like coordinates, accuracy, strength, ssid, mac, security. Having a feature to preview this inside the module would be a great plus for being in the now but being able to export to third party apps would be great too. Anyone with food for thought would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I'm fond of factory reset in these types of situations. Unfortunately I can't relate because I'm not experiencing that problem. Though I do experience some devices do not prefer to connect to the pineapple over my router. Those devices usually have a smart switch to hop networks based on speed. If my main router is stronger (usually is) it will try to connect to only that, until told otherwise. But sometimes the pineapple is good at 'convincing' those devices to stay on the pineap. Some of it I chalk up to learning the topography of this device. In your case, sounds weird but I'd start with a reset and try to narrow out the possibilities.
  3. Well mathewq. It seems like this is an awfully vague uhh problem here. Now ya say some of them. How many is some? Secondly do some stay connected? Seems to me there could be a few reasons. First. Range is not infite, I'd say with stock ideally you want to be in a 100ft range clear of as many obstructions as possible. Probably so. Aside from range advice. I dunno what to say.
  4. Very versatile. So far I'm happy. Hoping to get some ads-b with this. Psyched!
  5. Having difficulty running recon in continuous mode for more than 3 hours. It's also impossible to get 10 minute scans reliably right now. The system seems bogged down. Anyone with an idea of what I'm talking about?
