WOW, I thought I had problems, man every single module in this forum has serious issues, mainly that what the description says it does and what it actually does is TWO very different things, i should have stuck with kali n my wifi card I get better results, so far ive had this box for like a month and i cant get to work what I want , im sure some modules work but not the ones i want. i feel like i got taken for a ride
These modules are made by the community for the Pineapple. Not everything is going to be perfect. You could always ssh in to the pineapple and run the commands by hand instead of using the GUI.

I highly doubt it. I think they would have mentioned something or put that option on the hakshop.

Its hit and miss with site survey. At times I will get good handshakes and other times i get partial handshakes. The partial handshakes will run through aircrack-ng and say there is a handshake but will not give me an error on Onlinehashcrack.com.

Ive completely switched to OSX and so have my parents and grandparents after we have all had major issues with Win10 not working for some reason or another. I will never use windows again and either will anybody in my family. Enterprise wise, my company still use winxp which is outdated but works for them. Win10 will never see a hdd or ssd in my house agian. Linux or OSX only.

Due to the general population not using terminology properly, let me fix a definition for you. If you brick the router, it's trash, the only use for it after that would be a brick. If something is "unbricked" then it wasn't bricked in the first place, it just got messed up and was difficult to fix. I don't know where this "unbricking" term came from, but it's annoying...
Note taken!! :)
And yes I have come to realize that very quickly but I have my other router that is, I might just mess with that and see what one I like best.

Do you have a firewall enabled? That caused me a lot of problems in linux mint.

Use Evil Portal with DNSspoof. Make a landing page that is the website login and have it redirect after entering the creds. Use DNSspoof to get them to the landing page instead of the login page. It might be hard because people save their passwords in the browser so it automatically logs them in and goes straight to there page.

Im looking at flashing open-wrt to my secondary wifi router because I don't use it much and want to pretty much see what I can do with it. Using the Pineapple Nano ive kinda got an idea of open-wrt but im sure its a little different when it comes to a router thats not a Pineapple. I want open-wrt because that is what the Pineapple uses and I want to familiarize myself with it more.
1,) I dont want to brick the router trying this
2,) Is there any advantages to running DD-WRT over OPEN-WRT
3,) If I brick a wifi router (Netgear WNR2000 V1) can I flash the stock firmware and revive it?

I use an alfa awus036neh which is sold in the hakshop. Depending on which OS (10.8, 10.9, 10.10, 10.11) you are using, you will have to install drivers to get the usb wifi card to work. I have mine working with 10.11 but you have to install a driver and a kext to make it functional. Before buying a usb wifi dongle check out the maker and make sure there is a driver and or kext for the Version of OSX you are using. If you have the awus036neh let me know and I will find the artical that I used to get it working properlly.
On a side note, it might be more worth it to get a wifi dongle that supports 5Ghz connections.

No,
Crohn's disease is a type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that may affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract from mouth to anus. Signs and symptoms often include abdominal pain, diarrhea (which may be bloody if inflammation is severe), fever, and weight loss. Other complications may occur outside the gastrointestinal tract and include anemia, skin rashes, arthritis, inflammation of the eye, and feeling tired.

If it doesn't work for what you need it to do don't buy it. Thats pretty simple. BTW smile more, life's too short to be negative.

Wow, I just realized the $250 Tetra doesn't have a microSD port. What a waste. 2gb? Are you kidding me? That's barely enough for RAM let alone ROM.
Absolutely lame. 64mb RAM should be enough? You're running a fancy web-server and network sniffing tools. It's going to run out of memory. The only reason the NANO has a microsd slot is because there is not enough internal storage for all the modules. 2gb is more than enough for the Tetra and I would rather use USB stick than a microsd card. You would be surprised how well these perform for the size.

In parallels you have to have the VM started first. Get logged in and to the desktop. Plug the Pineapple into your machine and Parallels should open a pop-up for the Pineapple asking you which OS to connect it to. Other than that you can go to Preferences and then the Devices Tab and add the pineapple to the Kali VM only. Its labelled AX88x72a. I used Parellels a lot when I first got my Pineapple and it works very well. You have to have the VM up and running before you can connect any devices to the VM. Parallels is the best VM for usb devices that I have ever used.

ive hit 100% but usually only when i'm running PineAP and another module with connected clients
-
Yes, it says on the Advanced tab under Update. All data will be lost after updating the firmware, so that is normal. The 100% CPU load is somewhat normal depending on what modules your using or even PineAP. Sounds pretty normal to me.
-
if you are using Parallels set the AX88x72A Device to Kali linux under usb devices in the preferences of Parallels. Make sure your VM is up and running and then plug the nano in. Parallels might ask you what device you want it to connect to and select linux. Under network settings in linux make sure you primary ethernet connect is enabled and disable the wifi pineapple. Then run the WP6.sh

Get on youtube and you will find a guy that makes OSX VM's. He always has instructions and its really easy. I hate to be negative but the DVD sounds like a fake. Not because it won't work, but because you got it off ebay.

have you tried to update it? Download the firmware and flash it or flash it from the GUI itself?
