  1. I seen the youtube comments about him not releasing his work but then I thought.... Why would he release the script but not the supporting files? Unless there were no supporting files.
  2. he doesn't go into great detail. but the errors i'm receiving root@kali:~# ./neo.sh /bin/bash: while [ true ] do echo -e;clear sleep 3 echo "T" sleep 1 echo -e;clear echo "Th" sleep 1 echo -e;clear echo "The" s: No such file or directory is files not found. but yeah that shit looks great, i love that it actually gives real information and is not just some BS that looks cool. Edit: excuse my mistakes, on my fifth shot and these keys are starting to mix up between one another.lol
  3. i found a pretty cool, matrix type script, that actually displays information. I am trying to run it in kali. but having no luck says i should use tmux but i used gvim instead, never used tmux before the code can be found here: http://www.necopost.com/2012/06/knock-knock-neo-coolest-app-i-ever.html
  4. I don't think targeted attacks are available yet but a easy work around is have only your android be connected as a client and only visit your perfered webpage on that android device during test. If you need help with strip and inject go to that thread under the infusion section found here : https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/30673-support-strip-n-inject/#entry231008 .
  5. Anytime, Chris! Just know that for me, I am going to do whatever I can to help you get back to doing what you love and are good at. This topic is the least I could have done for the time an effort you've put in to educating people like myself. For free! Also not to call anyone out or suggest you should bite the hand that feeds, but i'd really like to see Darren and Hak5 or threat wire get involved in this, i mean TBH i seen Chris's wifi pineapple tutorials before i even bought a pineapple, His quality tutorials convinced me to actually buy a pineapple. So his videos are also good for business on the Hak5 side of spectrum.
  6. He confirmed he has backed up his videos. Also he hasn't had much time to get on here but he will shortly.
  7. In all seriousness though, i don't see how charging customers for another pineapple plus accessories to use the 2 together is considered "just scratching the surface" when a newer version with more ram and faster cpu, which would be a fairly cheap upgrade for both sides, would solve that problem. I mean, you wouldn't go out and buy 2 PCs with 2 gigs of ram and duo-core cpu, then link them together in order to have a quad-core, 4 gig of ram PC. But i'm not trying to turn this into "one of those" threads. maybe peap/radius attacks would be cool. more recon functions. (once the cpu usage is toned down a bit.) And yes i realize pineAP is not fully DEVed yet. deauth, targeted attacks and so on are in the works. When i asked this question, i was thinking that maybe it was something new, that really pushed the pineapple to the next level.
  8. I'm actually creating an infusion based on that concept but i'm also adding the benefit of an UZI & Dynamite willding raptor to back-up and concrete the whole process!
  9. I was reading in a post that is now locked, About the MV6 and that it would be awhile before it came out due to the fact that "we are barely scratching the surface" with the MV5. So now I'm kinda curious as to what the plans for the MK5 are (just generally, don't want a spoiler.)
  10. http://d.uijn.nl/?p=32 Sharing this for all the professional, legitimate pentesters.
  11. That's part of yes. But it's also about researching and finding vunilbilities within the entire system. Which includes finding flaws in captive portals used to login into company databases.
  12. You can literally git clone into kali(1.0.8 or higher) cd mana Run ./kali-install.sh Let it install Then cd back into mana (if not there) Then excuse the command "run-mana/start-nat-full.sh"
  13. It's not available for the pineapple yet. But yes you can git clone.
  14. It would be real kind of you if you could make it into an infusion for us. Or point us in the right direction on how to get it working on openwrt for a command line infusion
  15. Lol ZaraByte, Pewdiepie's game commentary videos are crap and I find him incredibly annoying! Some people like him, to each is own, but if his account was terminated I would make an hour long video of me just pointing at his account and laughing. I think my next post is going to be a "call to arms" to get rid of Pewdiepie trololol (jk)
  16. Can't argue with that, Cooper! The reasons it irks me is not necessarily the fact that it was HIS account that was terminated, it's the fact that it could of been any and all accounts that provide security / pentest education. After watching his videos that were better put together than 75% of the crap that's still up and running on youtube, my opinion is this was a direct attack on the "hacker" community, either through neglect due to them not watching his videos or due to reports of him "contributing to the delinquency of minors" whatever the case maybe I have read the community guidelines and his videos did not violate them.
  17. He has not confirmed rather his videos are backed up or not. He is not dumb, I imagine he did back them up but thats not the point at all. (not to mention One can not back-up their following.) The point is this time its him, next time it could be you or Hak5. He can't do this without the support of the people he has taught or helped over the years. His videos were educational and well put together. He has contributed to this community and Hak5, and my personal opinion is the community should now contribute to him. I mean, honestly how hard and how much time would it take to send youtube some feedback expressing our concern on how his account termination was done under false pretense.
  18. Eh, I really didn't think his videos were misleading or used misleading words. I thought they were pretty straightforward. Granted I haven't watched everyone of his videos either. I'm gonna try to get a hold of him and see if he can provide us with the official documentation. I believe this is more of a case of people falsely flagging his videos.
  19. Shortly before his account was terminated he posted a video asking for our opinion on his videos, due to a few youtubers saying his contributing to the delinquency of minors and that they were reporting his videos. His videos were of high quality and very professional. He is a professional, he hasn't been posting alot because he has been busy creating a website were user have to defend their servers against attacks from other users while also attacking other servers and you are ranked depending on how well you do. Basically he is creating a game out of hacking within a controllable environment. http://www.CTF365.com <<Game site for those interested https://hackthistutorials.wordpress.com/author/hackthis1/ <<<This site will tell you more about what was going on with him and youtube.
  20. https://plus.google.com/+ChrisHaralson/posts?hl=en He makes high quality tutorials on kali linux and the pineapple. His google plus account says this also: "WHAT HAPPENED After receiving notice that my YouTube account has been suspended for violations pertaining to "spam, scams, or commercially deceptive content," I immediately sent an appeal to YouTube. However, as of today, my appeal has been rejected. This leaves me with no other conventional options other than simply accepting my channel's fate. Acceptance is NOT an option. Anyone who knows me or my channel knows that I do not send out spam, scam my viewers, or mislead my subscribers. I teach legitimate penetration testing concepts and techniques that are relevant to information security. I've been a YouTube verified partner for nearly 2 years and have generated thousands of dollars in ad revenue for them. My reputation and the legitimacy of my channel is reflected in my 1:100 dislike:like ratio, 17,000+ subscribers, and 2,500+ daily views. YouTube has stripped me of my identity, and left me in the cold. They've taken my livelihood, my resume, and my credibility. It is as if the last 2 years of my life never existed. My channel was regarded by many to be the best of its kind. It was an invaluable resource to thousands of people, including students, teachers, and security professionals. Don't forget who taught you how to create an evil twin access point, capture login credentials on a WiFi Pineapple, crack WPS pins and WPA/WPA2 encryption, eavesdrop on VoIP phone calls, and so much more. Thank you for your support, Chris"
  21. Chris Haralson AKA Chriswhat, is a guy who has spent lots of time building his youtube channel, to provide us all with free educational videos surrounding IT security. Now youtube has him in the back and suspended his account. So this is a "Call to Arms", YouTube has degraded, mislabeled and cheated one of our mentors, friend and neighbor while also cheated and deprived us all of an education under false pretenses. Contact YouTube through their feedback form and lets let them know we are outraged and demand the return of Chris's channel!
  22. As far as why they targeted the nexus device specifically, other than the reasons mentioned I'm not sure, however they have mentioned it will run on other devices as long as it meets the requirements and obtain the specific kernel. My educated guess tells me they picked a device already well known for meeting the requirements, rather than spending extra time and money researching which devices meet the requirements. Plus for people who are really into the idea of pentesting with android, they probably already own a Nexus device due to the pwnie express CE suite. An I suppose the same reason applies as too why they just didn't make it an app. There has been talk about it though but of course it would still be device specific. From what I read the setup is not an App at all but rather a kali arm distribution with some added features that are available through a local web server similar to the pineapple. Here is an ok video of a brief walk through of it: kali nethunter nexus7 2012 32gb 3g tilapia:
  23. Thanks for the responses, although those are good, they are not exactly what i'm looking for!! I guess the question might be better answered if i told you guys what i am trying to do. i don't currently own a nexus 5, 7, or 10 but i want to give kali nethunter a try. so before i spend the money on a nexus device i want to try Nethunter out first to see if its worth it. The only way i know how to do this is try Nethunter out on an emulator first.
