  1. Have you tried the auto Formatting option that is built into the firmware? (I currently forget which Tab it's under. Maybe someone else can help with that.) It will partition your SD card for swap and storage space and then mount it for you.... This will of course erase the SD card.

  2. This question goes out to Darren and the Pineapple Team.... I seem to remember a mention when the Mark 5 first came out that there would be a USB to Ethernet adapter that would be supported. This would essentially give us two Eth ports again and I'd kinda like to do that... But, I haven't heard anything about this topic since then. Are there dongles that are natively supported? Will the Hakshop sell one in the future? Maybe I've missed something and everyone know this works...

    Thanks,

  3. You've completely missed my point. I wasn't asking... I quoted myself from this thread back in February for a reason. I pointed out then very specifically that both reaver and bully needed the interface to be in the "down" state or what you call disabled. The fact that in the infusions the words Disabled and Enabled are used could be providing some of the confusion as to how you can use an interface that is "disabled". That's because it's actually just in the "down" state.

  4. Enabled or disabled was still a question?

I'd like to confirm some behaviors with WPS... Anybody else seeing that you have to enable the wlanX interface that you are trying to use so that the Refresh APs button will work? Otherwise it won't show anything.... I'm guessing that is on purpose to make sure it is in the "up" state. The problem with that is that both bully and reaver need the wlanX to be in the down state, but in monitor mode, to work. So what I've done is go into the WPS infusion. Pick the wlan interface I want to use and hit Start so that I can get the Refresh APs to work so that I can choose the AP I want to target. When I do this it populates the BSSID and channel info below. Once that is populated I hit the Stop button so that it disables the wlan interface, or at least gives it the down command. Once that is done I hit the Start Monitor mode button so that it creates mon0. After that I choose mon0 in the below section and choose either bully or reaver. Once I've done all this I can hit the Start button.

  5. I was more poking at the Class rating of the SD card than anything. If it was formatted by the pineapple you should be good. In the older versions of the firmware I would rarely see what you are describing. I would yank the power and reseat the SD card and it would boot up just fine. I haven't really used 1.04 enough to see if it happens again. Even in the old ones it wasn't every other boot though.

  6. Glad it's working for you... I wasn't really trying to be an ass, I just wasn't sure how many people might buy a Mark 5 and assume because there is an infusion that it natively has the capability of ADS-B tracking without the SDR.

  7. Do all of it from the command line... Record logs, take screenshots etc the more data the better, then post it all in the original thread. We're not mind readers. The sleeping for 10 seconds portion is normal but you're supposed to see lines for what is being deauthed. Again, to begin with ignore the infusion and do it all manually. Once you can get that to work move on to the infusion. You'll have a better idea of what you're seeing and what the infusion is doing.

    Just suggestions...

  8. Cooper,

You assumed he meant to try to power the Pineapple via a USB to LAN adapter? Why would he need that if there is a USB to pineapple barrel cable?

    winkillerx,

I'm going to assume you meant can you control/connect to the Pineapple via that cable. I don't own a Windows tablet but assuming it's just a lan connection and you can change the settings in the control panel; I don't see why not. The better question is why do you want to? So that you can use wlan0 and wlan1 simultaneously?

  9. A good rundown. The -C when using wash is a great tip as is making sure your pineapples access point isn't using the same frequency. But honestly that last one I've never done. It's never been an issue that I know of.

wifite.py is a great script but it doesn't crack WPS pins.
