That's the dumbest idea i've ever heard of.
+1
How about a windows box that sets off a tactical nuclear device whenever a dumb forum post is made?

I know a guy who bought one of those dog things. Don't do it.

I clicked on it.
I do not retract my original statement. That being said, I highly doubt you clicked on it anyway.

I got that shit too. Anyone who clicked on the link is an idiot.

TBH if you are going to say that a site is off limits it should be blocked. If you then see anyone n it you know they are circumventing network security and that is something to clamp down on.

Another vote for songbird but if it's just to get podcast I totally recommend gpodder.

Sure if you life is shit your going to break the law to escape it etc, but if you get caught you face the consequences. Laws are laws for a reason. Ivesting money into other nations in my opinion is foolish when we need the funds here. The medical and educations systems in Australia can alway use more funding, and I would prefer my kids get the benefits than people overseas.

I would send both away, as one slot left is meaningless because there will be more than one boat. Further more, any illegal immigrant, irrespective of country will be sen home and their country handed the bill. Any foreign aid to those countries will be reduced accordingly, if it continues it will get cut off altogether. I work will several people who have immigrated from India, Pakistan etc who are excellent at their job. They followed the correct process to immigrate here.
There is a legal process to enter the country, if you don't respect our laws enough to obey them, then you shouldn't be here.
-
The Australian government for the most part bends over backwards for immigrants. It's no secret that more and more Aussies are becoming more and more resistant to th influx when it appears that the getting favored, offered better benefits and in some industries taking jobs.
People want to cry discrimination or that we're racist but it's just throwing mud that people are scared will stick to them. I don't give a shit and and am happy to say I think the immigration laws here are a joke. I would also happily deport any illegals instantly, but I would also like to expel the lazy trash as well, born here or not.

In Australia, its illegal to do ANYTHING without a license or permission. Australia's government is "banning" adult publications and films featuring women with "small breasts," says Aussie activist Fiona Patten, on the grounds that such images encourage pedophilia. http://www.theweek.com/article/index/10576...mall_breast_ban
In other news, you now can't procreate in Australia without permission...it requires a 12 week course in which all participants undergo rigorous training and moral lectures. After the 12 weeks are finished, you must write a 10 page essay and give an oral dissertation as to why you should be aloud to procreate. If your reason for procreation is not judged sufficient, you are then flogged by a group of your peers until you pass out, by which time they will then perform the little "snip snip" to remove your ability to procreate. j/k :)
Seriously though, Auastralia is starting to sound like a communist China.
Some of the people I have encountered merit such a procreation policy.

Apathy, the great Australian past time.
As my distaste for people in general increases, I find myself less and less "patriotic". People love Australia, but it's a country that does not have it's own culture and whose society does little more than mimmick other western countries.
I realise there is no utopia, and am not so foolish as to wait in hope of things changing for the better. Human nature is just that, and will never change.
-
Sorry about that, was tired and too lazy to read it all so just skimmed.

In Australias you wont be able to install cabling in homes or business without a license, in fact it is illegal to even do it in you own home.

I actually watch insecurity pretty often, once a week or so. I have alway liked it, as basic as it is.

Australians are also lazy by nature, and need to be led. Anytime there is a wishy washy government in power the country flounders. The country needs a strong government that places it's people first. Time to tighten our belts and sort ourselves out instead of letting more and more people in and add to the multi cultural shit storm that currently exists. Multiculturalism is fantasia bullshit, and does not work in practice.
I also cannot stand the governments ham fisted attempts to make policy on things they nothing about, such as the Internet Filter. It wastes our money, teaches dumb criminals to be smarter and is just a big waste of time. If I could, I would declare my house as a legally independent nation.

Don't tell me you one of those "anarchists"?

We predominantly use Solaris and windows

U have done it a few times and have owned a real apple as well. Mac OSX is pretty, but I feel generally an OS for people who don't know how to use computers. There, I said it.
On the subject, a legit now leopard disc inserted after empire efi bot disc has had 100% success rate for me, including 3d acceleration for my 9800GT. I had issues with the other variations and kernel extensions not specific to my devices.
