alright, my speakers on my computer used to be really loud, but since i reinstalled xp, they just wont go anywhere near the same volume. i have looked in the sound and audio device settings, and everything is up full. ive downloaded the latest drivers, nothing works. wtf? its a intel 82801ba/bam ac'97 audio controller.

Link works fine for me and I think she's a beauty. I wouldn't consider the less-than-hot girls ugly. I'd jsut consider them beautiful in their own way. And it's not that I'm going after ugly girls, I'm just gonna get more involved with the ones that are in my league.

Not anymore, I used to be doped up on retaline for years. But I'm not even 1/4th as hyper anymore. The main thing right now is my lack of attention span. So they don't see the need to buy any medication for me because I'm not anywhere near what I used to be.

well, gee whiz, if your all that, why did you ask for advice on a tech forum? I didn't. I was just summarising a story, one of my weaknesses and that I got denied. You guys just took it as if I was asking for dating tips. But I guess I shouldn't have even started the thread in the first place.

I just needed a little creative input from the other members because I'm not exactly mr. creativity. But you guys gave me some good ideas and pointed me in a direction and I'm grateful for that. So, thank you.

I've read alll the posts and I get the idea that you guys don't think I have any clue on how to pick up women. I've had a few girlfriends in the past, I know how to pick up women. It's just sometimes, I go for the ones that are out of my league without noticing it till afterwards. No, I'm not saying I'm a player; I am a shy guy but I'm not helpless either. My last girlfriend broke up with me because she found out I am a pothead and she actually caught me smoking a joint with one of my friends.

I'm going to experiment with this computer and learn some new prog languages on it (if i can) and maybe even learn a new distro of linux. Right now my favorite languages are php and c++.

I'm sorry but I think you should get a life and stop being such a bastard. Stop treating girls as trophy's and objects. You might have some luck then but I doubt you'll be able to do anything about being such a pig. I'm sorry but I think you need to get to know me better before you start accusing me of such things. I deeply respect and value women. I appreciate women and their true inner beauty. To me, women are the most precious and beautiful beings in the world. Most of them are sweethearts, caring, kind, funny, gentle and I love being around them and being with them. Most of them are seriously selfless. I really don't know any selfish women, they are always going out of their way to make us happy. I have no problems spoiling women and going out of my way to make them happy. I just happen to fall for the wrong chick a bit too much.

There's a cute girl that I had my eye on today. I actually caught her staring at me in class. :D

I think you are a 1337n00b when it comes to dealing with people, complaining and insulting never helps. If you had been nice and feigned slight ignorance they could just as well have given you a free license. It happens regularily. Lol, w/e man. I tried to be nice at first, I told her I had to personal XP machines. I told her about the updates problem and she told me that I needed to order another copy of XP. Then I asked about the licensing and she furthermore told me taht I need to buy another copy of XP. So I flamed her and hung up.

Unless WGA gets cracked soon, I say buy a legit copy of XP (oh no!!) or like 89 dollars then use windiz to update your machine. I have this 200mhz, 32mb ram, integrated video, piece of shot computer; I can't figure out what to do with it. I installed Windows 2000 on it but it's soo slow. It's like even dial up internet is faster than this thing. What should I do with it?
