Its popular because for us (the viewers) we like people that are real. I may only be speaking for myself, but to be honest, the "professional" television hosting scene isn't all that great. Example: Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa. I don't know if you know the 'Live! with Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa' segment on ABC but they're always interrupting each other. It brings the audience in and makes the show more casual and natural than convenient.
Point and case, i cant see us hackers being "professional" wearing three-piece suits and giving a good "professional" web show. Its an extreme comparison, but that's how i see it.

Black is always better ;) who needs trees anyway :P

yea i was thinking i might have needed to make a standalone media server because media can be too much for one pc to handle at times. but withthis i may be able to integrate media in my current server XD

Got a spare pc and im tired of copying my stuff over to all my other computers. Was thinking a *nix based server all command line would be the trick. Ubuntu Server probably, been there before. Any applications i should consider? Constructive criticism people.

Hmmmmmm, thar be some mischievousness afoot. Especially with Darren's nonchalant sillies
-
thats way cool. i sense another Hak-Project lol

exactly, Darren knows the laws and he has a level of sarcasm that may be translated as seriousness. Just breathe a little.

id have to agree with the above....im a nub programmer at best

that sudo command will be very useful. Only thing i can think of is those infamous "windows cannot allow you to delete *.*" errors for random folders and files. Im sure itll be far more useful in other aspects as well.

log on to a network (one that has little or no security) and leave little txt files titled "SECURE YOUR NETWORK" with a brief description of what they need to do and the risks of not doing so. Generally, it works.

Wifi hacking, if its a honeypot scenario, redirect them to a locally hosted web page saying they got owned and they need to watch out. If its a wifi access point...ill just put a notepad doc on their desktop. "hey, i got in...fix your security with these 3 easy steps..."

I was chillin on the wire today and doin my usual traffic analysis and....well...BT4 is just boring looking. i was wondering if i could add one of those fancy themes that are out there online for the BT4 KDE. Is it possible?

I have opinions and others do too. I was just wanting to know for general reference as to what others think of this OS.
