Backtrack 3 help?

Well i downloaded backtrack 3 final, ran it on my laptop, no problem.

when i put it in my PC however i keep getting this message

Trying to autoconfigure Xwindow System, please wait

this has been on for atleast half a hour and on my laptop the setup was done within 5 mins.

i dont understand

Perhaps your graphics card cant be supported by X?

Try vesa compatible mode.

And how do i do that?

try vesa kde from the start up screen. it plays nice with some hardware that the other modes choke on.
