Snowman
I don't understand what it is but I can log on to the server just fine but after a certain time, the server like forces the session closed and then it rejects all of my requests to log back on?!? It will work just fine if I restart the service on the server but it just does the same thing after a while. If it helps... Client = Windows XP Media Center 05, RealVNC 4 Enterprise. Server = Windows XP Home Edition, RealVNC 4 Enterprise.
Sparda
First thing that is negligible: Running such services on XP home is against the license agreement. Firewall? Is it inactive when it disconnects you? There is probably a log file that might be helpful.
natural_orange
The only experience I've had with RealVNC Enterprise disconnecting me is when I was changing users. But even then it would let me reconnect without much of a problem. I beleive there Is a way to re-generate the keys it uses for encryption. You could try that, and mabey changing the password. wetelectric
You could always use the free edition and tunnel it via ssh until you figure out what's going on.
