dyna
hey, my g/f just wanted me to reformat her toshiba satellite m115-s1061. so i did. when the install was complete, i started installing drivers so the laptop would be usable. However, when i got down to the wireless driver, none of the ones on the toshiba website will work. i have tried installing each driver and the utility each driver. It just will not detect the card. Only unassigned drivers in the devide manager are Ethernet controller and PCI device. Im assuming that the card is the PCI device. Also, i can't seem to find the default microsoft wireless utility anywhere. Can anyone help me out with this?
Sparda
I would boot a Linux distro that is equipped with most wireless drivers (Ubuntu for example), see what drive it uses for the adapter, then find the windows equivalent for the chipset.
