bmanice
in Outlook (2003/2007) is it possible to save an email WITH the attachments to a local drive (IE: C:) as ONE file format? All i can do is save as a .msg, which only seems to save the text of the email, and the links to the attachments (which never work when you click on them), and then save the attachments separately. I know this is a mundane question. But it annoys me regularly... thanks!
digip
I htink you have to save it as a.eml file which is a container with attachments inside as well.

bmanice
this may sounds odd, but IIRC, previous to me installing the newest symantec corp edition (End Point Protection), i could save as .msg, and the links would work fine. After the install, when i try to open a attachment on a locally saved email, it presents me with the error box "The operation failed. An object could not be found." hmmmm
