vdec12 Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Forgive me for the very dumb questions. I will be using it only for key logging of an iPhone. I have no idea how this all works. 1. Will the key logging feature be able to do its thing if the target iPhone is with the person at work and the O.MG cable is at home with me (also where target iPhone lives and charges too)? Or does target iPhone have to be somehow near the O.MG cable? 2. Am I able to leave the key logging feature running all day to see all the days key logging activity? Or do I have to pretty much guess when the person is typing and start logging? Thank you so much!

Like all hardware keyloggers, the O.MG cable must be plugged into the target device and keyboard to log keystrokes.
NoExecute Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 For the scenario you describe, no it can't do that. You need a software keylogger on the phone, / backdoor, that transmits data back to you in realtime. Can you use the omg cable for installing something like that, maybe.. Switch the original charging / data cable with an omg, and remote trigger install of the payload. But the payload is up to you to write, as well as the connect back / c2 endpoint, to get the data. So, it looks like you have a long journey ahead of you 🙂
