AWUS036NHA doesn't work

Hi everybody,

i am new here. I get my WIFI Pineapple Tetra last week 🙂

Now i tried to use my AWUS036NHA with my tetra. It should be used for the client WIFI mode.

When i put in the wifi adapter the tetra reconize it and i see wlan 2 under the interfaces. the scan for ssids is also posible. the led of the wifi adapter is solid blue.

When i choose my ssid an try to connect the wlan the led of the wifi adapter starts to blink, but a connection is not established.

After a sccond try interface changed to wlan1. after that i can not choose wlan2 any more.

in the interface overview, wlan2 is still there.

With wlan1 everything works fine.

I tried also an shorter cable (about 40-50 cm) and a second wifi adapter from the same typ.

Did anybody have an idea to solve my problem ?

You have to change the wireless settings in your config. Your radio 0 is your Wlan0 your Radio1 is your Wlan1 if you plugged in the Alpha you should also have a Radio2 in the config for wlan2. There you have to make the following settings

 

conifg wifi-device radio2

	otion type		mac80211
	option channel		11
	option hwmode		11g
	option htmode		HT20
    
config wifi-iface

	option device 		'radio2'
	option ifname 		'wlan2'
	option mode		'sta'
	option network		'wwan'
	option ssid		'yourSSID'

	option key		'yourPassword'

Remember that the channel you are forgiving must be the same as your AP.

You can orient yourself by what your pineapple assigns automatically
