perpetual boot loop

got my shark-jack last weekend.

For reasons I do not understand the switch position arm or attack does not seem to matter the blinking pattern is always the same green solid and blinking than dark and repeats endless.

in the off/charge osition it does this green lightshow if connected to USB power. does not seem to reach any of the attack, arm or charge states. looks like perpetual boot loop.

How to get this gadget to behave as advertised?

Any suggestions welcome,

If the Shark Jack's battery is fully depleted, it will not boot as indicated by no LED status lights. If the battery is almost fully depleted, it will attempt to boot - as indicated by a blinking green LED - followed by a reboot around the 12 second mark. Both are indications that the battery should be charged. 

To charge the battery, flip the switch into the OFF position (furthest away from the Ethernet jack) and plug in a USB-C cable between the Shark Jack and a standard USB power source. After a quick boot process (indicated by green blinking LED) the battery will begin charging (indicated by a blinking blue LED). When the device is fully charged, the LED will light solid blue. Be sure to unplug the device when the battery is fully charged, and as with any lithium battery powered device, do not leave charging while unattended.

Hello Erich,

I had the same problem with mine but was able to fix it. The quality of the housing seems a bit poor and the red plastic switch is very loose. If you remove the device from the housing, you can move the switch to the off position with no problem. I'm still trying to get it back into the housing but it's difficult. Pity, such a nice idea on the tech side to be let down by cheap plastic assembly.
