Anyway to somehow install openwrt onto a router that isnt on the list of routers?

I have an D-link N150 I want to install kismet onto it bit unfortunatly its not on the list of routers that openwrt supports. Did the programers just not make a patch for this router becuase there must be hundreds of digferent routets right.

Depending on the hardware model, the D-Link DIR-600 version A1, B1 and B2 are supported. Though for the D-Link DIR-600 version C1 and C2 support was dropped because of insufficient RAM and flash

You could still apply updates for it though, KRACK Patch is available on the D-Link Tech Support site. Note that Security Advisement patch is in Chinese language.
