trinaldi01
Hi everyone, So, I have just acquired a Pineapple Mark V, and I am new on this community. The reason why I am writing this post is that I could not find in any post that could answer to my question. So, I have an access point (WPA2 password protected) and I was trying to create a rogue access point with the same name for it, so I could MITM my connection. Well, what is happening is that I created a roghe access point (with pineap / Karma), and I noted that while the rogue access point shows up on the wireless list, my devices (mobile, tablets and etc) always connect to the password protected network (even if I am close to the rogue access point). So, what am I supposed to do in order to make the devices to connect with the rogue access point instead?
Foxtrot
Your device will prefer remembered secure access points over insecure access points.
trinaldi01
So, there is no way to circunvent this control, is that correct?
Teabot 5000
Send a continuous stream of deauths to the legitimate network. That'll prevent hosts from maintaining a connection with the legitimate access point. However, as far as I'm aware a user would still have to manually select to join the illegitimate network.
