elluk
Hi guys, Just come to use my MK5 and want to update it - currently sat at version 2.2.0 The check for updates isn't working - just says 'No upgrade found' I am able to wget from google so I know internet access is good. I have tried to flash the firmware, but the download on the website is only the upgrade? so that won't take. Where can I download a full firmware image for the various versions? And why might upgrade not be working?? Thanks!!
Sebkinne
Hi Elluk, For now, please download the upgrade.bin firmware from https://www.wifipineapple.com/downloads, and SCP the file to the WiFi Pineapple's /tmp/ folder: scp upgrade-2.4.0.bin root@172.16.42.1:/tmp/upgrade.bin Once you have done this, SSH into your WiFi Pineapple MKV, and issue the following command: sysupgrade -n /tmp/upgrade.bin This will perform the upgrade for you. Best Regards, Sebkinne
elluk
Thanks Sebkinne. I manage to get that far this afternoon after hunting around for a 3rd party instructional (the MK5 documentation for flashing e.t.c is also moved now) I'm now installing various infusions and utils, but these packages are also moved! Looks like MK5 users have been forgotten?? :-( My device isn't particularly useful at the moment. http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/mk5http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/mk5/packages/coreutils_8.16-1_ar71xx.ipk Both returning 404s (as do most other downloads at the moment). Is this going to be fixed sometime?? Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your help! https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/37704-scheduled-server-downtime/#entry274418 You can follow these instructions as a temporary workaround.
