Anonymous123
I know hak5 sells a rtl sdr dongle but then I learned about another RTL SDR dongle that has R820T2 RTL2832U 1PPM TCXO. Here is a link http://www.amazon.com/RTL-SDR-Blog-RTL2832U-Software-Telescopic/dp/B011HVUEME/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8. Should I buy that version or should I buy the hak5 version? cooper
They're effectively the same device. It doesn't make much of a difference, if any - either will work just fine.
Guest Josef K
I've got both. The one of RTL-SDR has a normal SMA antenna connector, so it is easier to attach a different antenna to it like the ANT-500. It also higher precision oscillator, so less calibration is required for small band FSK channels.
