I.e. is it simply a matter of being unable to boot from the CDROM because the BIOS doesn't support it, or does it not respond at all? See if these guys support your mobo/chipset. Make sure you have installed it correctly and that the bios is able to detect it, you can set bioses not to do some things, lock inputs etc, that could be your problem.
