UnKn0wnBooof
I'll make my questions quick and simple since I'm in a hurry. Is it possible to install a SAMBA file server and how would I do it? How would I load a driver for "Bus 001 Device 005: ID 7392:7811 Edimax Technology Co., Ltd EW-7811Un 802.11n Wireless Adapter [Realtek RTL8188CUS]" ?? It's a USB NANO wireless adapter. Thanks! :D
phpsystems
1. Depends on what platform : "yum install samba" or "apt-get install samba"? More detail of the installation platform required. 2. Modprobe, insmod and lsmod are your friends here. Unless you are running windows. Again, more info about the platform is needed.
UnKn0wnBooof
I'm trying to install everything on the Pineapple...
phpsystems
Samba, while technically possible is quite big.... "opkg install samba" would be the command, but the packages are in the pineapples repo. You would need to find them (probably in the openwrt repo) and install them that way. http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/cifs.server As for the driver, Have a look at this: https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=42888
