idletester
Hope someone can help??I have setup the pineapple as per the instructions for windows. Using wifi. The Wifi is working correctly and I can access the internet, then I connect the wifi pineapple using a ethernet cable, plug the pineapple into the LAN and the power supply. Get into properties on the LAC set the IP to: 172.16.42.42 Subnet: 255.255.255.0 and the DNS to 8.8.8.8 click okay and the wireless is connected and I can access the internet. If I now try to access the wifi-pineapple. It says the Local Area Connection is connected. But I have a constant blue light on the wifi-pineapple and a constant green but no amber light. Can someone please help?? Edited May 6, 2015 by idletester
barry99705
Try connecting to it over wifi, something may have disabled the ethernet port for some reason.
