Max21101
Hi All, I have just purchased a rubber ducky and created my inject.bin scripts with the VIDPID swapper aswell. I have just gone to test them on my windows 8 machine and when I plug it in it finds the drivers but does not preform anything? Sometimes I get a run dialog come up but it never works. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I have attached a part of the code I am using (beginning part) and could anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks! -------CODE-------- REM Enable Developer Mode GUI r STRING outlook.exe ENTER DELAY 10000 ALT STRING F STRING T DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN TAB TAB TAB TAB TAB TAB TAB TAB TAB TAB DOWN ENTER TAB TAB TAB TAB TAB Enter STRING "%LOCALAPPDATA%\TEMPORARY FOLDER"
Oli
Could be many potential reasons.... Have you tried manually typing that stuff (i.e. with keyboard and not a duck) to see if it actually works as expected?
Max21101
Yes it works, but not when I use the duck?
Max21101
Could the duck mabie be to fast for the system? If so should I add a delay off 200?
Oli
Probably need an initial delay and other delays as appropriate,
Max21101
I will try this. Do you mind if I get back to you in 5 minutes?
Oli
Go for it. The duck firmware is starting to get more and more dated - we need such things as "waitForDrivers" methods and better approaches for delays.
Max21101
Yeah, just added the delay and it made no difference. I had two windows error sounds and randomly chrome opened on my machine? But random things happen every time I plug the duck in. Did I need to do a initial flash or anything as I believed it was all setup. And all I have done was created my inject.bin with the ducky decode on Darens Git hub and plonk it on the root of the sd card? Any advice would be great! Thanks ;)
Oli
Maybe try a really simple payload that you know should work? I'm not 100% convinced that the script you are using isn't dodgy. The "my first payload" thing should be ok. You are using the right firmware / actually encoding your script with the java app to get the bin file right? Max21101
Don't worry my fault. I forgot how rubbish my computer is and realised that I needed to add a lot longer delays to my commands for it to work. Case closed sorry everyone!
