Totu
There's been a lot of talk about WLAN probes on the show, but is there a way to capture WLAN traffic with Wireshark/Tshark and see which client MAC is probing for what SSID(s)? I've tried running Tshark with subtype probereq, but the feed is filled with broadcast messages and I'm only interested in what clients are looking to connect to specific SSID. For that matter is something like this even possible with Wireshark or should I be looking for a different tool?
cooper
Googled for "visualize SSID probes" and right at the top of the list was snoopy. Look at the images at question 6 - I think this is what you're looking for.
