lolk
Theoretically when a probe is sent out from a connected client to a hidden SSID, it should show up when searching the beacon frames. My question is, does it?
Paranoir
I am not sure if it does, but looking for SSID's when I used the WiFi Jammer gave me an "unnamed" wifi.. I got the MAC address, but yea.. It had no name, which to me looks like a hidden SSID. Not sure if that means it can detect them or not.. barry99705
Kismet needs updated! The version in the repo is an older version that has issues hopping mac80211 drivered devices. Dragorn says the latest version should fix that. Other than that, kismet works pretty well on the pineapple.
