leathalinjexion
When I connect the MKV to my router I can not access the control panel interface on the network nor when connecting to the broadcasting pineapple_xxxx AP, however when I disconnect it from the router I can connect via wifi. I can also connect when the MKV is connected directly to a computer. Im not a routing expert (yet) I imagine this is due to an iptable or configuration which is looking specifically for the 172 block and the router is on 192, I see to recall this was much easier with the MKIV but dont remember if I configured things differently. What I would like to do is connect the MKV to the router for internet and control panel access freeing the radios for testing.
soap
The br-lan interface is hardcoded with 172 address. Basically what you need to do is have it request a dhco address from your homr router. I attempted this but only briefly.
Darren Kitchen
I'm at toorcon half asleep but IIRC what you're going to want to do is set eth0 to option proto dhcp.

Jmanuel
Change the subnet on your router so it matches the pineapple's :D On the router change the DHCP server settings gateway 172.16.42.42 subnet mask 255.255.255.0 dns 172.16.42.42 pool range 172.16.42.43-254 This way you don't have to setup eth0 mode: DHCP client
