Accessing UI from second interface

I have finally managed to connect to an AP on wlan1 and share internet to wlan0. Is it possible to be able to access the UI (172.16.42.1:1471) from the wlan1 connection?

If I connect directly to the pineapple AP or connect an ethernet cable to it accessing the UI is no problem, but probing the IP of wlan1 on the standard port returns nothing, which seems weird to me since I can access it from the ethernet's IP, both of which are assigned with DHCP.

Thanks in advance.

You understand that wlan1 will have a different IP address as assigned by the access point it connects to. For example if your router hands out IP address in the 10.0.0.1/24 range and the pineapple is on 10.0.0.15 then to access the pineapples web interface from the same Access point as wlan1 is attached would mean browsing to 10.0.0.15:1471
