whitehat Posted April 21, 2013 Share Posted April 21, 2013 I'm not gonna tell you that google is your friend ;) but without knowing what katana is i just googled it and it brought up a thread from this forum on BT5 + Katana But you know that Kali is the newer version/replacement for BackTrack, right? Katana is on http://sourceforge.net/projects/katana-usb/ though, but if your trying to make a bootabke kon-boot, use windows, and the HP USB Boot Installer(**Be sure to pick correct device, don't wipe your HDD!!). Will work better. WAY better. Also make sure you have correct Kon-Boot for the kernel you need. One for 32-bit, one for 64-bit, and newer ones for Vista and 7. http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?swItem=MTX-UNITY-I23839 For those who have trouble on the HP site: http://www.digip.info/files/HP_USB_BootKey.exe Just pick the correct thumbdrive!! **Not guaranteed to work on a UEFI bios.
