I just got the RD today, I was able to compile an inject.bin and added it to the SD card. I tried deleting the .bin, but it keeps coming back and I can't format the SD card. I even tried adding another payload to different SD card, but the light on the RD is a constant red. Could someone please help?

I'm running windows 7 64x, it lets me delete the .bin and eject, but as soon as I put it in the reader again on any computer it restores the inject.bin :/

Is there a lock switch on the SD card?

Possibly try another computer? I don't have a current gen rubber ducky (probably will get one soon). So I'm not much of help with common issues. Sorry, you will have to wait for other's replies.

You can also try...

1. Right click "My Computer"

2. Select "Manage"

3. Select "Disk Management"

4. Delete the volume for the SD

5. Create a new volume and format the SD card

I tried that, it lets it delete the volume, but it doesn't let me create a new volume. If I just delete it, unplug it and then plug it back in, it's the same volume and file on it like nothing happened.

Are you running stock firmware?

I assume your using an micro sdcard adapter to access the micro sdcard - can you upload a picture of the adapter?

have you tried another micro sdcard?

Does the ducky's default payload trigger? a red led means it cant find an inject.bin or mount the sdcard....

I've used Windows 7 x64 with no problems, so its a matter of understanding whats going on.

Update: I went and bought a 2 GB micro SD (it was on sale). I added a payload to it, and it works! It seems the original SD wasn't working properly and the other one I had was... old.

Sorry about all the trouble, and thanks for your help everyone :)
