No Pineapple Web Admin access when using SSLStrip - expected behavior?

Hi all,

Be playing around with a WiFi Pineapple for the last two weeks and have it setup and configured.

One question regarding SSLStrip: I have it setup to run from USB (the only choice I guess since it won't fit on the Pineapple's internal storage...).

But when I run it, I loose acccess to the Pineapple's web admin interface -- is this because IP tables has been modified?

Is this the expected behavior when running SSLStrip with the Pineapple?

Thanks in advance,

-B

This is because you are connected to the pineapple and not sharing internet and connecting through that way. At least that is what I think is happening.

What Version of the pineapple are you using?

if you are using the pre-change of port version you will need to manually change the port of the httpd server serving up the webpages, as the iptable rules used for sslstrip will break it on port 80, i would recommend using port 1471 as the latest version is now using this port.
