What's the problem at hand?

Edit: There are two ways, you could go about

1) Downloading and installing Backtrack from scratch

2) Or, follow this guide to upgrade to the latest kernel,

apt-get remove metasploit && apt-get install metasploit

If that still does not fix it then apt-get remove metasploit --purge && apt-get install metasploit
