joshie
First off, thanks for putting together the wifipineapple!! Love it. I was following the instructions to flash the firmware (http://forums.hak5.org/index.php?showtopic=25753) and went to download the kernel.bin and rootfs.bin files from http://wifipineapple.com/mk4/factory/. I'm getting a 403 error. Are these files located elsewhere? Thanks!
Mr-Protocol
There is a problem with what you just stated. The Mark IV only has one file: update.bin Mark III has two different files: root.squashfs and vmlinux.lzma The two files you have downloaded the kernel.bin and rootfs.bin are the default openwrt from Alfa which can be used to "unbrick" the pineapple via UART serial connection. The issue with the firmware download site is a known problem as far as I know at this point.
