Dns Spoof Not Working Without Ics?

Recommended Posts

How did you set up redirection?

Best,

Sebkinne

I just pasted the rick roll html found on hak5.org into the landing page

and set "172.16.42.1 *" in the dns part of the configuration

I also tried abc.com and others to see if that was the problem?

It works when I have ICS working, as soon as i unplug the ethernet to my laptop, it stops again? but when i plug it back in and even when the internet "wlan0" is disconnected it works again?

I hope that can help anyone who might know how to fix this.

thanks again and merry Holidays;-)

FIXED!!!

I re-flashed my mk3 and set up the rick roll page differently.

scp the rick roll index.html and NGGUP.mp3 to /www/

then edit redirect.php and change require('error.html'); to require('index.html');

"Sebkinne" I think it should read error.php not .html?

log into 172.16.42.1/pineapple and switch on dns spoof

also you might want to add "172.16.42.1 *" to dns spoof host under configuration, that way all dns will be forwarded to index.html aka rick roll:-D
