Mr Andrewson Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Ok i've got Norton System Works 2003... Old yes but is it good? It updates every week... But the point of this post is... Should i uninstall it? Is it slowing my computer down? Well it is slow... and ive checked spy sweeper avg anti virus and defragmented it so could notron be slowing my computer down? If so could anyone help me uninstall it? Quote
Sparda Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Nortons software is compleate bloat ware and bogs down even the fastest of computers. I say, remove it, and use free more lightware alternatives. namly Kerio Personal Firewall and AntiVir. Quote

Sparda Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Reinstall windows... it's the only way to properly remove norton software... :/ Quote

VaKo Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Kerio is free, it just comes as a 30 day trial for the paid version, then defaults down to a free version with a banner that says "this is only the free version). Quote
