siyaa
? more info would be helpful. i used backtrack and finally got a handshake (wifi). after that i tried to load that saved handshake file in cain and abel (windows application). but the program says that their is no handshake.... but i am sure that i got a handshake in backtrack
digip
Don't use cain to read the pacp. Use aircrack-ng in backtrack, and feed it a wordlist.
siyaa
thanks digip. but i am wondering if there is any software that could read these handshakes..
digip
The handshakes are encrypted and need to be brute forced. I'm sure there are windows programs that can do it too, but other than Aircrack (which runs on windows too) I would just use backtrack. Especially if thats where you captured it, just use the same machine to crack it.
