I'm guessing it probably isn't ok for you to use a signal that's not meant for you but it would be interesting, I'm going to look more into it. What kind of device would you use? There are always restrictions and regulations in every place, and it is illegal so as long as you don't get caught you will be fine. Could a TV tuner(or some other device) be modified to monitor the frequency?
