BlueWyvern
Hey guys I have an Acer G185H LCD monitor, it was cheap and it serves my purposes. here's where my question comes in though. The manufacturer has a "maximum Resolution" of 1366x768 My Video card will let me crank it to 1440x900 and it still looks great! BUT! It has a little box that moves around the screen that says "Input Not Supported" and it will not let me access the OSD Menu until I lower the resolution back down. so anyone know how to keep my nice higher resolution that matches my other monitors without the annoying box? **I'm broke otherwise id just go buy 3 same size/make/model monitors
Sparda
If you use a resolution higher than the number of physical pixels on the screen, you will lose detail, not increase it.
digip
Unless both the monitor and GPU support HDMI, then stick with the VGA resolution.
