Jamo
Hi. I use gmail and I don't want to go to gmail.com each time I read my mails. especially when I use my phone to connect to internet. I use ubuntu 10.10. It comes with evolution by default. It seems good, but is it best. evolution or thunderbird or something else. I dont want to sync all me mails to my computer, only 1-3 days. I have over 10 000mails and my hdd is 32Gb. so I would run out of space.
Sparda
I personally would just use Thunderbird, it's nearly identical on all platforms.

And you can always delete the emails you don't want to make up more room.

With gmail, you should never had to delete mail, your storage capacity grows by 25MB a day or some thing like that.

I still delete emails that is of no importance or use to me. And plus Gmail is always reading peoples emails, so why should I keep them there.
