D3lt@M@n
Can I use the pineapple as a Wi-Fi repeater? I live in the sticks with no FIOS, cable, or DSL. I use a Novatel MiFi 2200 with Sprint for internet access. The Mi-Fi will only accept 5 concurrent Wi-Fi connections but I have seven PC's that need internet access. Can I setup the Pineapple to use the Novatel Wi-Fi as its internet source and have the seven PC's connect to the Pineapple?
Mr-Protocol
You can do this with a normal router. Do not need a pineapple to do this. it would take a reflash of just DDwrt on the pineapple. You'd be better off buying a router that you can connect to your Mi-Fi and have your computers connect to the router instead of your Mi-Fi. That way only one device will be on the Mi-Fi and you can have many through it.
darkknecrotic
You can use the pineapple, just connect one computer to the mifi, connect the pineapple via ethernet and do ICS (if you're on windows)... Then just have the rest of the computers connect to the pineapple's wireless AP. I'm sure there are other ways, just what came to my head when I thought about it.
