Ddeere2 Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 I was thinking of purchasing a gaming laptop. I have been looking at the alienware m9700 and voodoo's pc's. Price is not a concern, but i would like a AMD processor with dual grapichs cards. If you have any suggestions, it would be really helpful, Thanks in advance. Quote
stingwray Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2006/03/0...notebook/1.html But buying a dual graphics card laptop is stupid. It means that its not a laptop because its not portable. You won't be able to use it on the go because the battery life will be terrible and you still won't get the performance of a decent desktop. Plus dual graphics solutions arn't really finalised yet and have limited supports, you might as well go for a laptop with one decent graphics card, some portability and battery life and save yourself a wad of cash. Ddeere2 Posted July 16, 2006 Author Posted July 16, 2006 Ok, since its not good to get a dual grapics laptop, which single card laptop would be the best? I heard the Dell XPS laptops are good. Quote
