i applied to mit this year early action, but i missed it because of my math SAT score. i forget what i got. other than that, i could of gotten in. so now i'm applying to Duke, Carnegie, and Brown. and yeah, MIT is a great school, one of the reason i applied is its research, that stuff they come out is crazy. you hardly see any other school in the news like MIT.

well, what i was going to use it for mainly was gaming, since i have a second laptop that's kind of old school.

you can try pspvideo9, it converts all the movies, shows, and music videos i have great to play on my ipod. i don't know what resolution you would use for the zune though.

I was thinking of getting a new laptop before i go off to college. Right now, i've been looking at the Alienware m9700. What do you all think, is this a good choice? and also, could you tell me of a better laptop? thanks in advance.

i have a 360, and as i don't like microsoft, but the 360 is good. I play Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, Call of Duty 2, and Halo 2 online. My gamer tag is doug135.

How about electronical engineering, would the certifications be good for that, or i'm just wasting my time and should go with Computer Science?

Ok, thanks all. I'll try and get some experience and a cert. in Visual Basic, hopefully my school will pay for it. and a little off topic, is A+ a good language to learn, and, please don't flame, is there a cert. for it? It will help my major more than likely, the languages i mean.

I was thinking about getting a certification for Microsoft Visual Basic. Is this a good idea, or i should i go for some other kind of certification. I'm already being taught at school to take the certification test for Microsoft Office 2003. Also, how about C# certification? Thanks in advance.

The funny thing about the cops with there 9mm is even though the have a heavy trigger, they still sometimes pull the trigger accidently. I have a couple guns myself. I read on Yahoo news, that AMD is going to buy ATI for 5.6 billion dollars. Some say that this will challenge Intel's new Core 2 Duo chips along with AMD's price cuts. AMD said this will not change them from using Nvidia graphics cards as well. This may challenge Intel, but we will see.

I'm not wrong, i saw the reports. Iraq did have wmds, but not a really large amount. but a good size amount. i know what i'm talking about, my dad was with the rangers for more 10 years and he told me there was no such thing as reporter's in there. you only heard about them a few times, i yet to see delta, the rangers, or the navy seals on the news. and yes, iran does have nukes, or we wouldn't be pressuring them to stop their enrichment, we do have the information about this, and the goverment haven't told the public this because the public can't handle this.

Not many people know it, but we have troops fighting with israel. and if israel does attack iran, it would give us a reason to go into iran also, to get rid off the nukes they have. like in iraq, we did find wmds. but the president took the blame of saying we didn't find any, because the stupid public would want to know how we found it, just be glad we got rid of them. Who do you think found Suddam, not the regular army, but special ops. They don't want the glory of finding them, because they don't like publicity, that's why you never hear of Delta Force, or the Rangers. This war in Lebanon is in someway justified, it would of never happened if they left each other alone. why can't they get along, i'm thinking they are doing this to try and bring the US into this war. the thing with north korea, we don't really have to bother with, he is not so much a threat as cuba.

Ok, since its not good to get a dual grapics laptop, which single card laptop would be the best? I heard the Dell XPS laptops are good.

I was thinking of purchasing a gaming laptop. I have been looking at the alienware m9700 and voodoo's pc's. Price is not a concern, but i would like a AMD processor with dual grapichs cards. If you have any suggestions, it would be really helpful, Thanks in advance.
