catchyanow Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 I am going to use the 2 nirsoft tools Live Contacts View and Messenger passsword viewer on a machine. They are using Sophos. I am going to burn them to CD so they can not be deleted by the AV. Will the AV stop them from running? Quote

I am going to burn them to CD so they can not be deleted by the AV. Will the AV stop them from running? Yes, it will be blocked. I sent Messenger Password Viewer to VirusTotal (report). Sophos tagged it as malware ("Messen" Hack tool). So if you try to run it, Sophos will show a warning message and will stop it from running. Quote

Sud0x3 Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 FU** You could always try to hex out the detected portion of the executables. Quote
